Dr. Gonzalez is a triple-boarded physician and an active member of the Interventional Orthopedics Foundation (IOF) who offers the most advanced techniques in Regenerative and Minimally Invasive Orthopedics treatments.
After training and working alongside Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Josh Hackel in Pensacola Fl, Dr. Gonzalez now returns to South Florida to provide the community with the most advanced and cutting edge techniques.
Before practicing, Dr. Gonzalez undertook a Biomechanical and Research Internship at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) under Dr. Glenn Fleigs in Birmingham, Alabama. There, he collaborated on multiple research projects including biomechanical pitching, cheerleading motion analysis, and injury prevention research in youth sports
As part of his Sports Medicine career, Dr. Gonzalez has helped as a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds AA baseball team, Tampa Bay Rays, University of West Florida, Auburn University, and local High Schools. He has also served as a consultant for various MLB, NFL, NBA teams, and other professional athletes.
