Jason D. Tucker, MD

Dr. Tucker is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine, Interventional Spine, and Regenerative Medicine.

Dr. Tucker graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Biology & Chemistry in 3 years from Glenville State College. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. ACGME compliant Orthopedic Surgery Internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center (MCV). Fellowship training on the West Coast at the highly respected Bodor Clinic as well as two visiting fellowships at Thomas Jefferson University & Proscan Imaging in addition to Autologous Biologics Clinical Translational Research.

He has received special training in Orthopedic Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Regenerative Medicine and MRI under the tutelage of leaders in these respective fields. His overlying passion is to use the skills he has developed to deliver biologics, such as stem cell and PRP based treatments, to orthopedic related problematic areas with ultra-precision using complimentary imaging guidance

Dr. Tucker is also heavily involved in research and was lead investigator of a novel human clinical translation study evaluating the molecular and cellular response of the Human Osteoarthritic Knee Joint to Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injection. In addition, he has authored and co-authored published literature in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, and given podium presentations at internationally attended conferences

Additionally, Dr. Tucker has received certification by the ARMDS in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (RMSK), which is the highest competency distinction a physician can receive in Orthopedic Ultrasound. He is also certified in Hyperbaric Medicine. His dedication is to continue development and progress to stay at the forefront of this new frontier in medicine whereby giving his patients the most advanced, sophisticated, effective and safe treatments available.

He has pioneered a brand-new treatment that is being done exclusively at iOBX to treat torn or dysfunctional Anterior Cruciate Ligaments (ACL) with high concentrations of Autologous Stem Cells. It is done via Micro-Needle Direct Camera Visualization technique. Dr. Tucker has now been involved with Orthopedic Stem Cell derived treatments for 4 years and has been doing Autologous Stem Cell derived treatments full time as Medical Director at iOBX since June 2016.
