Mary A. Ambach, MD

Dr Mary Ambach specializes in non surgical musculoskeletal and spine care, regenerative injection therapies, sports medicine and interventional pain management.

She is a Louisiana State University trained physician who is double board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. She also has subspecialty fellowships in spine, pain and regenerative medicine. She is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Associate Professor at Southerm California University and Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr Ambach is a former contributing editor for Rehab in Review and current Peer Reviewer for several journals. She has authored published articles and book chapters in Regenerative Medicine. She is actively involved in clinical research to promote natural ways to heal spine and joint injuries. She has served as Faculty and Speaker at Regenerative Conferences in and outside of the country.

She was selected as Top Physiatrist in Los Angeles, CA by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals. Dr. Ambach was also awarded by the Arthritis Foundation as the Los Angeles 2018 Orthopedic Honoree

She recently relocated back to San Diego after many years of contributing to a team of internationally recognized experts and facility in regenerative medicine, the Orthohealing Center in Los Angeles.

She is currently practicing at the San Diego Orthobiologics Medical Group, a leading premier practice specializing in non surgical orthopedics and regenerative therapies.
